Our elegant reception rooms are available on an exclusive use basis, allowing you and your guests to relax and celebrate in private. Our interconnecting reception rooms easily adapt to host individually styled weddings.

The Inkwell

Relax in the welcoming and comfortable atmosphere of the Inkwell, with its beautiful glass lantern roof and marble fireplace. This reception room within the heart of the house is the perfect place to meet and greet your guests and relax with a drink from the bar on one of our oversized sofas.

The Dawson Room

An abundance of natural light and gorgeous original features combine to provide a glorious setting for your ceremony. This space is perfectly suited for more intimate wedding breakfasts with the stripped back floorboards making for a great dance floor. The options are endless…

The Ballroom

The original wood panelling, high ceiling and mullion windows provide a light and airy space, ideal for a wedding breakfast if you’re struggling to reduce the guest list. In the evening, the oak sprung floor can be transformed into the perfect setting for dancing, whether that is to a live band, disco or ceilidh.

The Ashburton Room

The Broadwood grand piano steals the show in this room. Smaller ceremonies, drinks receptions and parties can all be entertained in this room. The French windows give guests access to the private lawns to the side of the house.

The Music Room

Another adaptable room that is often used as a space for children throughout the day. Equipped with a large TV and sofa, perfect for games consoles, parents can relax knowing their children have a safe place to let off steam.
